Introducing MASZER! Mother's Anger new outfit with KT Black.

Buzzed interview w/ STITCX backstage @ Austin City Limits ACL 2013

  • Mike Davis from the MC5 produced Mother's Anger debut album. He was brought on by Dionysus Records that signed the band after hearing a demo made in Seattle (made with Pat Grey of High Voltage music store, he just loved the band and recorded us for free, that first visit showed us the pure Seattle spirit we completely fell in love with the town and its people). We arrived from Israel a few months before that and had no idea who the #MC5 were. I don't think enough people do. Anyways, on our first meeting with Mike we confessed. He sat us down and played us "kick out the jams" live album while telling us stories from the era. Needless to say our minds were blown especially given how early it was in punk history. For example he told us how the cops were waiting to take them to jail for every time Rob was saying "kick out the jams motherfuckers". They begged him to say "kick out the jams brothers and sisters". Sometime he did but mostly the whole band would end up in jail for that... Just wow. They were real pioneers. When we left Mike's house he gave us a copy of this movie, which just like the band suffered from all sorts of hangups that eventually killed it. Mother's Anger journey in the US started quite magically and sitting at our friends house watching this film was such a stroke of confidence in the decision to come over and live the rocknroll dream. I recommend diggin into the net to find it somewhere and spend your Sunday evening getting inspired by one of the most awesome bands that ever existed...

  • I've been a fan of this dandelion's draw art way before @_maszer_ and there are dated instagram comments to prove that. I really dig the style, it feels like a lost moment in a parrelel b&w universe where time stands still, a longing to the intricate simplicity of the past or just wTF 😜... Tomorrow is the opening of her first show in Seattle. Go check it out. I think buying a piece is a good investment in karma too 😊
